Studio Journal Knock is a bilingual independent magazine that tells the personal stories the author, a photo journalist based in Japan, Isao Nishiyama encounters the stories on his long journey. It is a visual journal featuring various type of attracted artists such as painters, sculptors, photographers, architects, performers, musiciansand the other visual artists, both established and emerging, from all over the world with brilliant analogue photographs and essays. Studio Journal Knock explores the countries to visit artists in person, to their studios, to capture their ordinary lives and listen to the words they speak. The main focus, Isao’s curiosity is not only their art works or techniques but also their thoughts, minds and backgrounds what is principal on their creativity.
